What information will you need?Before the process fully gets going I will need you to complete an enquiry form which can also be found on the service page. This is a series of questions to get to know you, your style, and your requirements better. I will also ask for any inspirational images to help visualise your preferences. For virtual services measurements will need to be provided to ensure accurate and customised recommendations.

How long does it take?Although durations may vary depending on your requirements, I typically allow 40 minutes for the design consultation, either on-site or online. Following the consultation, I will return a proposal for your review within 24 hours.

How soon can I start?Once your final design has been approved and our agreement has been returned, we can begin working on your design project right away!

How do I communicate with you?You can contact me at any time during the process at info@silvanashomedesigns.com or via WhatsApp if you need a quicker response during business hours (Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm). I will also be available to support you up to 3 weeks post-completion.

Why do I need to pay upfront?To secure your design consultation, an upfront payment is required. You can make one full payment or two installments, the last being a minimum of 48 hours before our consultation date.

Do you offer discounts for multiple services?Yes! We can offer up to 20% off on combined services. If you wish to add on a service we can discuss this during our initial consultation.

What should I include in my budget?Depending on the service that you require I have listed an overview for consideration: Interior Designs: In most cases, your budget should include trade work, materials, design fees, certifications, and planning permissions (if applicable). Allow an additional 10% as a contingency. Home Styling: Your budget should cover all key furniture items, design fees, decor, and accessories. Staging: Design fees, monthly rental costs (depending on duration), and administrative charges.

Do you have any location restrictions?We operate virtually and face-to-face within the UK*. *(exclusions: Northern Ireland, Channel Islands, Isle of Scilly, Isle of Man, Isle of Arran, Isle of Bute, Shetland, ROI & Orkney Islands).

Do you design kitchens and bathrooms?Yes! We can help you with your kitchen and bathroom layouts which you can either take to your supplier/tradesmen or we can do this on your behalf.

Can you help with fitted furniture?Yes! We can suggest the perfect style and finish to work with your design scheme. We can source your joiner who will provide technical drawings as part of a full design package.

Can you recommend tradesmen for my project?Yes, we offer a fully comprehensive service and can even project manage your design so that you can focus on what matters most to you!

Can I make changes to my brief?I know there can be many moving parts and afterthoughts that arise during the process so you can certainly make changes. I allow for 3 further changes to be made prior to agreeing the final direction and details of your service.
